Role & Responsibilities 🔨
As a Lab Assistant/Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the RnD and operations. This position also involves handling fundamental tasks to enhance overall laboratory efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix products according to established recipes in collaboration with senior scientists.
- Perform general laboratory activities.
- Operate machines and systems.
- Participate in pre-processing activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal and legal requirements, including hygiene, occupational safety, food safety, environmental protection, and HACCP systems.
Administrative Tasks:
- Support and participate in cross-team projects.
- Handle invoices and manage shipping tasks, including packaging, label printing, and preparing ice packs.
- Procure general materials for the lab.
Qualifications ****🎓
- Communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in teams.
- Training as a Biology/Chemistry Laboratory Technician, Chemical Technician, or Food Technology Specialist.
- Relevant professional and practical experience in the laboratory, preferably in the food industry.
- Flexibility and willingness to work in shifts (from 6 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. as required).
- Proficient in both written and spoken English; knowledge of Spanish is desirable.
- Confident in handling common PC programs.
- High degree of initiative, independence, flexibility, team spirit, and conscientiousness.
What else ✏️
- Estimated 15-20h per week depending on demands and your schedule.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate individual preferences, with the ideal availability being three days per week, specifically on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
